Free Movement has received a record number of aid requests this spring, but very few funds have accumulated. We have only been able to answer a small part of the requests.

Finland’s new government is planning a significant tightening of residence permit conditions. It is essential that undocumented migrants and other vulnerable migrants are able to apply for legalisation of their status as soon as possible.
Last year, Vapaa Liikkuvuus assisted migrants in a difficult situation with more than 11,000 euros. We paid e.g. residence permit fees and family reunification costs.
