Free Movement Association accepts financial assistance requests again
Free Movement Association assists migrants living in precarious situations and foreign nationals residing in Finland, such as asylum seekers and undocumented persons. Grants are provided to help regularize residence in Finland—for example, for residence permit and other application fees, legal aid, and family reunification. More information about the financial assistance criteria can be found on the grants page.
Applications are submitted as informal written or oral requests briefly explaining the need for assistance. Send your request by email to vapaaliikkuvuus(a)gmail.com. The association’s board reviews grant requests at its next meeting. The number of grants we can award and their amounts depend on factors such as the association’s financial situation at the time of the decision.
Grants are always paid against a receipt or other proof of payment.
